Fertility is the general term for the ability of an adult male or female to conceive a child together. Normal fertility progresses from sexual intercourse to conception to pregnancy to childbirth. There are various fertility disorders that may prevent this. The inability to do so is called “infertility” and there are different types of “male infertility” and “female infertility” (some couples have both). A reduced level of fertility is called “subfertility”. Read more about: Pregnancy, Fertility Disorders, Infertility
