Bronchospasm: Overview

Bronchospasm is a muscular spasm of the bronchioles in the lungs, causing breathing difficulty. Causes of bronchospasm include asthma (asthma attack), chronic bronchitis, anaphylaxis, giardia, and other causes. A number of medications can also cause bronchospasm as a side-effect.
