Hangover: Overview

Hangover is the after effects from alcohol intoxication, typically occurring in the morning following an evening of alcohol consumption. Symptoms include headache, dehydration, light avoidance, noise avoidance, nausea, vomiting, and other symptoms. Oftentimes alcohol intoxication has accompanied a late night out, and the effects of the alcohol are combined with inadequate sleep and sleep debt.
