Hay Fever: Overview

Hay fever, also called Allergic Rhinitis, is an allergic reaction to pollens are other airborne allergens. Symptoms of hay fever include runny nose (or blocked nose), sneezing, watery eyes, cough (from postnasal drip), itchy throat, and other symptoms. Hay fever needs to be distinguished from the many other possible causes of runny nose (and the other symptoms), such as common cold and other viral respiratory infections.
