Iron Poisoning: Overview
Iron Poisoning is an overdose of iron, also called iron overdose or iron toxicity. It can occur due to an accidental overdose of iron supplements. Iron Poisoning is more severe than an elevated level of iron in the bloodstream, which can occur in disorders such as Hemochromatosis (Hereditary Hemochromatosis). Acute iron poisoning is unlikely from dietary sources.
