Systemic Disorders: Overview

Systemic disorders is the general category of disorders and diseases where an entire body system is affected, or the entire body overall is afflicted. The opposite of a systemic disorder is a “local disorder” that affects only one particular region or organ. A systemic disorders affects many parts of the body, or affects a major body system that works throughout the body.
