What are Diabetes Pills?

Diabetes pills are mostly used to treat Type 2 Diabetes, the most common type of Diabetes. Type 1 Diabetes (Juvenile Diabetes) usually requires insulin rather than pills, but pills can sometimes be used. Some cases of Type 2 Diabetes, along with Pre-Diabetes, can be treated without pills, using lifestyle changes such as diet changes, exercise, and weight loss. Nevertheless, many diabetics rely on a number of types of medications to manage their diabetes. Some diabetes medications reduce the level of insulin resistance, others work by increasing pancreatic output of insulin, and others affect the digestion and processing of sugars.
